Fino a domani il router di Fon costa 4 euro invece degli già scontatissimi 25.
Va detto però che in Italia condividere la propria Adsl così è illegale ed espone ad alcuni rischi, al momento, finché la comunità di Fon Italia non troverà una soluzione.
So già che molti avranno acquistato il router di Fon per ritrovarsene uno a prezzo brassissimo e poi cambiarne il firmware.

E’ illegale, come mi ha confermato Fon stessa, perché non è ancora adeguato al decreto antiterrorismo, cioè non c’è identificazione degli utenti che si connettono al nostro router Fon.

Adesso è 1 euro senza spese di spedizione! fino a domani alle 14.30. Ma se non lo registri con Fon entro un mese, poi paghi 49 euro di differenza. Non so se poi loro controllano o meno la condivisione effettiva, sta di fatto che prenderlo senza condividerlo è un po’ contradditorio.
Soprattutto concordo con te per i problemi legali, vedi anche i sequestri polizieschi di PC se qualcuno scarica / upload cose illegali. E’ vero che chi viaggia su FON è identificabile, ma se qualcuno è passato dal tuo router, prima ti portano via tutto, poi tu devi dimostrare che non eri tu… Perciò ho molti dubbi.

ok per Fon, ma allora dovrebbe essere illegale pure non proteggere la propria rete wifi.. ma dato che chi si compra l’access point una volta su due ci capisce poco o nulla di configurazioni di rete…dal mio palazzo di Torino potevo evitarmi tranquillamente di fare l’abbonamento fastweb dato che un “generoso” di un appartamento vicino condivideva la rete con uno splendido router wifi Belkin senza proteggere nulla!
Bella questione Davz… è illegale lasciare la rete WiFi sprotetta? Cosa cambia allora se ci registriamo a FON e condividiamo il router? Forse i problemi sorgono solo quando qualcuno effettivamente si connette alla nostra rete…
E’ molto semplice. E’ la differenza tra quando ti rubano la macchina e quando la presti tu. Solo nel secondo caso sei corresponsabile qualora la persona che guida va a fare un incidente.
Mah, intanto io l’ho preso ad un euro e senza spese di spedizione… poi al limite glielo rimando 🙂
a proposito, ma in Italia non è illegale pure perchè non si può “dare in uso” anche gratuitamente (a parte l’ovvio subaffitto) a uno che non ha pagato l’abbonamento e sta fuori dalle mura domestiche? Ricordavo una cosa così… fra l’altro con quello che ha detto Alex è nata in me un’immagine: la polizia postale che, per trovare un fantomatico scaricatore folle di canzoni di britney spears collegato illegalmente via wifi alla rete di cui parlavo prima, bussa porta per porta alla ricerca del pc con la scheda di rete con l’indirizzo MAC che si era loggato nel router…. fantastico!
Puntualizzo: era una immagine mentale, a me britney spears fa proprio schifo! 😀
Sarebbe interessante capire se, con la minaccia dei 49€, affermano implicitamente di aver trattenuto i dati della carta di credito. Non c’è Paypal di mezzo?
